The Canberra Photographic Society (CPS) is the largest photographic club in the ACT. We have members representing all age groups and walks of life. Our meetings are relaxed and friendly, a great place to socialise, share experiences and learn.
Visitors are welcome: you may come along as a visitor for as long as you like, but you need to join if you wish to participate in some events (such as Weekend Workshops), participate in CPS exhibitions or enter competitions.
No special gear needed: You don't need to own any special type of camera equipment to be a member or to make good photographs. No matter what your camera there are always different things to try so come along, join in, push your boundaries and expand your horizons. Its amazing what you can do with a disposable film camera or a simple digital point and shoot or an entry-level dSLR camera. Some members have taken stunning images with smart-phones and tablets.
Competition Nights: - first Tuesday of the month
Activity Nights: - usually second Tuesday of the month
Workshop Nights: usually third Tuesday of the month
Excursions: These are outings to various locations or activities and are held at various times.

Non-members are welcome to view these pages but are not able to upload images or participate in discussions.
